Until it changes, your motivation is spoiled, and every talent can be misused or wasted.&nbsp;Therefore, if you care about your team\u2019s motivation, the baseline compensation shall be \u2018sufficient and enough\u2019 so that money is not our main concern.&nbsp;<strong>The question is when enough is enough?<\/strong>&nbsp;The answer is not so simple; however, the guideline is: the pay must be both&nbsp;<strong>internally and externally fair<\/strong>. Internally meaning that people in your team should&nbsp;<strong>earn similar for the same job<\/strong>&nbsp;and externally with regards to<strong>&nbsp;what they would earn doing the same job in other companies<\/strong>.
